Women also celebrated the designer for dispensing with constricting stiffeners in his dresses, thus creating a new wearing sensation for women for that time.
Dior is now a billion-dollar luxury goods group and has long since ceased to be restricted to the fashion sector. Dior is also represented with leather goods such as handbags and an accessory line with spectacle frames, perfumes and cosmetics.
